Free for homelabs and up to 3 nodes.

The free plan is the product, not a trial. It covers everything the roadmap lists as shipped.

No paywalled Proxmox action

If Proxmox can do it, the free plan can do it.

No paywalled security feature

Passkeys, second factors, step-up checks and signed updates are never an upgrade.

No nag screens

No banners or pop-ups asking you to upgrade. Licence checks work offline.

Paid options come later.

Both are optional and neither exists yet. Prices are set when the hosted add-ons ship.

  • Hosted add-ons

    Coming

Things that need a machine outside your lab: an outside watchdog that tells you when the whole lab goes quiet, phone push, and an encrypted settings safe.

Free for beta testers. Founders keep a locked price. No lifetime deals.

  • Business

    Coming

For companies above 3 nodes, priced per node: single sign-on, audit export, scheduled reports, a standby hub and support.

Questions.

Is it really free for my homelab?

Yes. Homelabs and companies up to 3 nodes get every Proxmox VE and Backup Server screen and action, with no account and no time limit.

What counts as a node?

One Proxmox VE host in your cluster or on its own. Up to 3 of them are free.

Does anything phone home?

Licence checks work offline. Safe-to-update warnings download a public list; nothing about your setup is sent to us. Alerts and off-site backups go to channels and storage you choose.

Is it open source?

No, Proxframe is closed source. Proxmox itself stays open and untouched: nothing is installed on your nodes, and every action goes through the Proxmox API as you.

Why no lifetime deals?

Hosted add-ons are a running service, so we price them as one. Founders get a locked price instead.
